Obsessed

We're leaving for the beach in a few weeks & so I've been buying different sun blocks & things to help with keeping us from burning and helping after we get back from the beach every evening. I heard about this after sun care from missglamorazzi on YouTube (people you need to watch her channel! I love this girl, she's so sweet & honest about products she tries out) so I went and bought some and OMG it's awesome!   Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun Lotion   

It smells so good & really helps cool your skin down plus it extends the life of your tan. I will definitely be buying more of this before we leave for our beach getaway!!

A Weekend of Celebrating

This weekend I spent most of it with my bestie Sonia for her birthday. We had so much fun & I was definitely exhausted by Sunday.   Friday night we had some people come over to hang out and have Sonia's 1st round of celebrations. We ordered pizza & just had an old fashioned get together. I made sure and took a picture of me & 2 of my favorite peoples...

It was so much fun to get to see them again & catch up on everyone's lives lately.   Saturday we went to Driftwood to take Sonia for a girl's day to the wineries. I was DD, so I had a blast driving the girls to each place & taking crazy pics of them being silly! We had lunch at Trattoria Lisina & it seriously was one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Amazing food & wine (apparently!). We then went to Duchman Winery, where the girls had a wine tasting. I decided to venture around the winery and saw where they barrel their wines for storage.

We went to Driftwood Estates Winery next but they were closing early for an outdoor wedding, so the girls sipped Champagne while I took pictures of the amazing view!

We ended the day at the Salt Lick Winery & dinner there as well. I'm sure everyone has heard of it before, but just incase it's the best BBQ you can get in Texas. And it was amazing!! I had the turkey sandwich and could barely finish it. The girls were so sweet and put all their leftovers in a to-go box for Eric to say thanks for watching Bella while I took them around!

Wow I am striking out with mascaras lately. I posted last month about a mascara that I thought I would love and ended up hating due to it being all over my face by the end of the day. Now I have one I hate more....   Maybelline Volum Mega Plush

The formula... awesome... the brush... amazing... the part of the brush that makes it impossible to actually put any mascara on my eyelashes without getting it all over my face... horrid!! I'm serious people this wand bent so much that trying to put the mascara on my eyelashes with any pressure was impossible!

Okay that's my weekend rant... have a great fun weekend!!

 

Refound Love

I'm a self confessed tanaholic. And no not the kind that will lay in a tanning bed burning my insides & begging for skin cancer... the kind that loves self tanners at home. And now that it's in the high 80's here & usually always sunny, I decided to repurchase an old favorite and I'm so so so glad I did!   Fake Bake Flawless  

I got it in the mail yesterday and was reminded of how much I absolute loved this stuff last summer! It doesn't smell overly bad & has a little bit of coconutty smell to it. But omg it literally tans me instantly & LASTS!! Like almost a full week lasts!! And the absolute best part? It dries in seconds and doesn't come off on your clothes. Perfection!
